As part of our efforts to inculcate in students, the school celebrates a number of functions including Yoga Day, Green day, Grandparents’ Day, Raksha Bandhan, Independence Day, Teachers’ Day, Diwali, Eid, Christmas and Republic Day. Participating in the right extracurricular can help student to follow their passions, form friendships, learn new skills and make network professionally. Physical exercise is good for their mind, body and spirit. Team sports help them to teach adolescents accountability, dedication, leadership and other skills.

ROAD SAFETY

Road safety is a great and important subject in for children and young people. It's a subject even the youngest children know something about because everyone uses roads, and road danger impacts on everyone. Danger from traffic is a big factor in whether children and young people are able to walk and cycle to school, to the park or to see friends, and therefore their ability to be healthy and socially active.

  • Stop at once if you are told. Never try to cross a road until you are told
  • Listen for traffic to cross safely
  • Follow the traffic lights and other crossings to cross the road
  • If you ride in a car, never undo your belt
  • In a car, only get out on the pavement side

SCHOOL SPORTS DAY

SCHOOL YOGA DAY

SHRI JAIN SHWETAMBER TERAPANTHI SECONDARY SCHOOL, Jaipur celebrated International Day of Yoga which is an ancient physical, mental and spiritual practice. It is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and the nature. The school organised mass yoga demonstration for students. The Yoga teacher also narrated the usefulness of different “Asanas” as a precautionary measure, in curing many Diseases and the usefulness of Yoga in the overall well being of a human being. Practice Yoga daily to keep Body and mind in healthy, stress-free and cheerful condition.

SCHOOL GREEN DAY

Health care activities and regular medical check-ups are held in the school to keep the students physically fit and mentally alert. Frequent visits by doctors and dieticians acquaint students to take nutritious food and avoid junk food. They are made aware of dental health also.

The shades of green filled the air with freshness, thrill, ecstasy and bliss. It also prompted them to think how green colour energizes and revitalizes our lives. It was indeed an invigorating, reviving and rejuvenating experience....!!
